There is something right about clichés
Norfolk + Burke
I saw the Imagining History exhibition at FotoMuseum Antwerpen earlier this week. Simon Norfolk’s exhibit is fantastic, and hopefully will make it to the states. Check out this interview with Norfolk about the exhibit. I’m starting to notice more projects that use photographic archives as a starting point such as Alec Soth’s Flickr project as well as Lakes Were Rivers, an Austin based group of photographers.
I’m in love. Really, it’s not like before.
Still traveling. Looking forward to a good night’s rest.
Glory Is The Sun Of The Dead
My rental car, Princess Anne, watches the peloton roll by. If you have ever looked at a map of Belgium, you’ll know there is not a grid to be found. If it were not for her GPS nav system softly admonishing me which way to go, in a British accent, I would still be driving in circles around the airport.
